Research and Education

The expertise represented by the Metcalf staff spans archaeology to software engineering, united by a passion for studying and sharing our heritage. We are committed to supporting our clients projects and also to understanding, sharing and protecting cultural resources through applied sciences and public outreach. Our passion for stewardship is reflected by the organizations we’re part of, the research we lead and collaborate on and the programs we support.

Research and Professional Growth Benefit Program

Metcalf encourages the individual growth of each of our employees. We developed the Research and Professional Growth Benefit Program to offer funding for conferences, professional training, and rewards for professional publications. We have awarded over $100,000 since the program began and continue to support our team’s professional growth and research efforts.
