I’ve been with Metcalf and FactorEarth since July 2021, first as an intern, and now as a full-time Content Marketing Specialist! I first dabbled in archaeology during my time at Kansas State University, where I graduated with a BA in anthropology in 2019. During my time there, I conducted research on public perceptions of archaeology in Kansas (maybe you saw my presentation at the Plains Conference in 2018!) and the history of the Fairchild museum at K-State. I had the opportunity to TA for a few semesters of cultural anthropology during my undergrad as well. If I wasn’t in class, then you could find me at football games playing piccolo in the marching band.

After graduating, I moved to Nottingham, England, with my husband until we were required to move back due to Covid. Afterwards, we moved to St. Louis for my husband to complete his PhD at Washington University in St. Louis. I worked at an animal shelter for a little bit (we grew from just one cat to two dogs and two cats, whoops), and then finally accepted a position at Metcalf and FE. As the Content Marketing Specialist, I manage our social media accounts and websites, create digital and print materials, and I have recently taken on the user experience responsibilities on the FactorEarth side of things. Outside of work, I love traveling and visiting new places, playing Dungeons and Dragons on the weekends, listening to records, and fostering animals.
